Rajeshwari Majumdar is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Politics at NYU and a Graduate Research Associate at NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics. She earned her B.A. degrees from the University of Connecticut, where she majored in Economics, Mathematics-Statistics, and Political Science.

Majumdar studies political behavior in developing countries, focusing on group identity and misperceptions about politics.
