Aengus Bridgman

Aengus Bridgman is a Research Scientist at NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics and a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. He studies political behavior and communication in Canada and other mature democracies, with a particular focus on digital activism. Methodologically, he works with survey, census, and social/traditional media data with an additional interest in data science, machine learning, natural language processing, and computational social science more generally. His work has been published in The Journal of Politics, The Journal of Experimental Political Science, Party Politics, The Misinformation Review, Frontiers in Political Science, and The Canadian Journal of Political Science.
