Alia ElKattan

Graduate Research Affiliate

Alia ElKattan is a PhD candidate at CSMAP and NYU's Politics department, where she researches how technology mediates how we acquire political knowledge, including through social media and AI-generated content. She is an incoming postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Information Technology Policy (CITP) at Princeton University. With a background in computer science and creative technology, she also builds interactive educational experiences that demystify technology for public audiences to build agency and accountability in human-computer interactions.
