Erik Opsal
Erik is the Communications Director at NYU's Center for Social Media and Politics, leading our strategy to increase the public profile of CSMaP, our research, and our researchers. Prior to CSMaP, he spent more than a dozen years in the nonprofit, government, and political sectors, working for U.S. Senator Russ Feingold, the Brennan Center for Justice, and the YMCA of Greater New York. He’s a native Midwesterner and a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
