Jason Greenfield is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Princeton University, advised by Manoel Horta Ribeiro. His research examines how humor interacts with politics in digital media and focuses on social science research methods for working with multimodal platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and talk radio. Prior to Princeton, he was a Research Engineer at the Center for Social Media and Politics at NYU, where he studied narrative diffusion in news media and the intersection of gender and political ideology in podcasts.
