Kristina Aleksandrovna Pedersen is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business at Copenhagen Business School researching the societal impact of electing business tycoons into office. Krisina studied her PhD in Political Science, at the University of Copenhagen. Her work broadly investigates how autocratic regimes manipulate media to maintain power, and the impact of autocratic repression and information control on citizens. Kristina's work with CSMAP examines how Russia’s labelling of activists and political personalities as "foreign agents" affects the online presence and political expression among targeted actors and their audiences on YouTube.
