Zejun Chen

Zejun Chen is a PhD student in the Department of Politics at New York University and a Graduate Research Associate at NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics. Zejun holds a Master’s degree in Politics from New York University, a Master’s degree in Public Policy from University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Peking University.

Zejun studies the interactions between public opinion and foreign policy, focusing on the strategies employed by non-democratic leaders to manage social media platforms and the impacts of new information technologies on authoritarian foreign policy.
