Aaron Pope is a PhD candidate at the University of Copenhagen and former Research Project Manager at NYU's Center for Social Media and Politics. He oversaw the implementation of the CSMaP independent panel project, which monitors discussion of political topics, media consumption, and the spread of disinformation, in both English and Spanish, in the lead up to the 2022 U.S. elections. Pope previously worked as an Events and Programs Coordinator at the Vilcek Foundation, an Information Assistant at the New York Public Library, and a Research Assistant at The New School. He holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from The New School.
