Vishakh Padmakumar
Vishakh Padmakumar was formerly a Graduate Research Associate at NYU’s Center for Social Media and Politics and PhD student at NYU’s Center for Data Science. Prior to CSMaP, Vishakh completed his MS in Computer Science at NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Science. It was during this time that he became a Research Engineer at CSMaP and began working on political stance classification and multimodal content sharing in online disinformation campaigns.
Padmakumar’s research broadly focuses on natural language processing and machine learning. He’s currently working on text generation for creative writing tasks and in interactive settings.
