James Bisbee is a Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU’s CSMaP. Prior to NYU, James was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton’s Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance. His research focuses the effects of economic dislocation on politics. He is also interested in understanding the anti-globalist backlash against open borders in advanced industrial democracies. He conducts all this research using quantitative methods, with a focus on the external validity of causally identified relationships.
